Overview

Welcome to Lake Murray Lookout.   The lookout is a fisherman's dream!  This home offers expansive views of the lake, in a peaceful, quiet setting.  Enjoy being close to all of what Lake Murray has to offer, or stay and take advantage of the back yard oasis.  The back yard is where you will want to be for most of your stay, whether it's fishing straight from the double slip dock, then taking advantage of the outdoor fish cleaning station, kicking back on a kayak or paddle board,  or roasting marshmallows from the stone fire pit over looking the lake,  you can't go wrong.  We have everything you need for the perfect little getaway on Lake Murray!

The Space:
This home features an incredible backyard oasis with multiple levels of deck to stretch out and an expansive covered dock (one of the only ones on the lake).  The inside of the home was recently renovated with new floors, new paint, arcade machines, and more!  You will fall in love with this home and make it a family tradition!

When you walk into the home you'll be greeted by an open kitchen and dining area.  The kitchen has everything needed for someone who loves to cook, or who just wants to re-heat pizza.  The kitchen comes with two different type of coffee makers, a toaster, a full oven with burners, refrigerator, and a dishwasher.  The bar has seating for four and the dining table has seating for six.  Just beyond the kitchen is the laundry facility which has both a washer and a dryer.

Master Bedroom - The master bedroom has a King bed and it's own private bathroom with a shower.  The closet is large and has plenty of space for you to store your clothes for a long stay, or just use during your trip for a little extra storage.  The master bedroom also has a dresser for storing bathing suits, towels, etc.

Second Bedroom - The second bedroom has two bunk beds (four twin beds in all) and has a wonderful view overlooking the lake.  This room has a closet with plenty of room to store clothes and other items.

Third Bedroom - This bedroom has a full sized bed, a large dresser and a closet perfect for storage.  This room is facing the front of the home but given the home is sitting on a point you can see the lake from this bedroom.

The Sunroom - The home boasts a large sunroom with incredible views of the lake.  This is the perfect hang out spot for adults in the evening or a great place to lay low with the entire family for a movie night.  The sun rooms is wall to wall windows and has plenty of seating for families of all sizes.

- 30 minutes from Downtown Lexington
- 34 minutes from Downtown Newberry
- 1 hour from Williams Bryce Stadium in Columbia
- 5 Minutes from Lake Murray Resort
- 13 minutes from San Jose on the lake
- 17 minutes from Lake Murray Boat Rentals

By boat you are also near Big Man's Marina which is great for fueling up or grabbing bait.  N'acho Margarite and Martin's Landing restaurants are a quick 10 minute boat ride away.

Our family enjoyed staying in this home away from home. The views of the lake were even more spectacular than in the photos. Beds were comfortable . Nice to have a washer and dryer. We enjoyed the fire pit, grill and use of kayaks and sup. Kids liked the video games. Excellent communication and quick responses to questions. Highly recommend this comfortable place. Thank you

My three brothers and I shared our first AirB&b experience at this beautiful spot on Lake Murray, enjoyed spectacular sunrises and sunsets and even a full “pink” moon during our five night stay. We took advantage of the comfortable family room, grill on the deck, as well as the coffee makers, washer & dryer and opportunity to prepare meals together - overall, a tremendous getaway!

Great communication. Very hospitable. I was texting with Lauren bc the Roku having issues. The batteries were also getting low on the remote, so I told her we'd be putting some new ones in and good to go. They brought us batteries the next day even after I assured them it was not a problem. The house has am awesome view of the lake, that my team was sending photos home to family members of theirs each morning. The house served our needs for the week and was a great place to stay after long days of work.

This property was absolutely beautiful! A treasure buried for sure! When we pulled up our children thought we would be cramped together, but once we walked in everyone's view changed. The property was very roomy, clean, homey and the views of the lake were amazing! The fire pit was so nice to relax by as the temperature dipped low Friday evening. I'd recommend this property for anyone looking to escape the busy city and relax your mind! We would definitely stay here again!!

Laurens place on the lake was absolutely perfect! Lots of room! VERY clean! The view was beautiful! Everyone had a great time right down to making smores! Lauren left ingredients and stuff to start a fire in the firepit! I cooked meals for the family and found everything I needed in the kitchen. We didn't want to leave! It was a wonderful weekend! Thank you Lauren!
