Our whole family had a great visit. There are lots of fun activities for young and old alike. The lake is beautiful! We would gladly stay here again.

Awesome house and even better hosts! Beautiful location and definitely recommend renting a pontoon if you don’t have a boat! Do note that the hot tub is not available for use during summer months! Thanks again for an awesome trip!

Beautiful peaceful location on Lake Murray. Loved sitting on screened porch and playing ping pong with family. The fire pit area is nice addition with sunsets to enjoy next to water.

Book before the price goes up! This place is unbelievable. Right on the lake with kayaks, dock space enough for 2 boats and brand new backyard. Clean hot tub, arcade games and ping pong. Beautiful views and hosts are very responsive. We will be back!

Great experience! We loved having a private dock to keep our boat. The boat ramp is extremely close to the house just a couple minutes away. The back porch was a great to enjoy the evenings. We highly recommend staying at Lauren place.

this house was ideal for our lake getaway for the Fourth of July weekend. The house fit 7 of us comfortably. We swam off the dock, used the paddle boards and kayaks, rented a boat for two days, and went golfing nearby. There were only four towels for the beach so I would pack some extra if you can. The kitchen had enough supplies for us to cook- it could have used more oil and spices as we ran out but we were staying a long time and were a big group. The house was clean and tidy but had lots of bugs such as spiders and roaches. That comes with the nature of being a cabin on the lake so it didn’t bother us. Overall such an amazing retreat for the weekend on Lake Murray! We would love to come back.

Our family of three met my best friend and his family of three for a four day retreat in this lovely home. Lauren was spot on with her description and the listing was everything and more. We loved doing absolutely nothing everyday and just floating at the dock or taking in the scenery from the screened in porch. The main bedroom downstairs was spacious and comfortable…the bathroom was amazing! The kids loved the bunks and our friends were comfortable in the second bedroom. Having the nice large tv in the den and second BR with the ability to log into our streaming services allowed the kids as well as adults to watch the Euro’s and COPA soccer matches. My personal faves were the 80’s arcade games, a blast from my past and where I spent most of my free time. We hope to return again soon to enjoy this little slice of paradise.

We all had a wonderful time at Lauren and Scott’s house on the lake. Everything in the listing was just as described and the location was perfect. We enjoyed the comfort of the screen porch looking out over the lake. The younger ones in the family, (adults and older teenagers), had fun boating and taking advantage of the various water toys as advertised in the Airbnb listing. We ate one night at Fiddler’s Blues which was an excellent choice …. It took us about 20 minutes by boat from the house, at 25 mph. They have outside and inside seating. We would most certainly return to both the house, and the restaurant.

My family had a great time swimming, paddle boarding, and kayaking here! The neighbors with grandchildren around my kids' ages were so sweet and we loved having playmates next door! Our only complaints are minor...refrigerator's ice/water filter needed replacing so the water/ice didn't taste good, and the kitchen was missing some basic essentials (salt/pepper, tupperware with lids, plastic dog bags for pets-mentioned in listing). We never reached out to the owner about these though, we were having too much fun on the water! Thank you for hosting us!

Lauren was a great host. Very responsive, easy check in / out process. Just like the pictures. Neat, clean and had all the accessories needed for a comfortable stay. Provided suggestions for boat rentals right on the next street, local restaurants and things to do within 20-30 minute drive.

This is a great place, we are repeat renters here. We will defiantly be back! The location is fantastic, small cove tucked off big Lake Murray. Close to anything you may need but also quiet and peaceful. Our dogs can get their exercise swimming. We rented a boat from lake Murray boat rentals around the corner. We had a blast and look forward to returning.

We had a wonderful stay. The home is very nice, the location is ideal, and the amenities are great. Tons to do at this house and on the lake. Lauren and Scott were very friendly and responsive. We definitely hope to come again.

We stayed here for my daugher's Spring Break along with 3 of her girlfriends. The house was absolutely perfectly sized to fit our crew while also offering great proximity to the water. We hardly left the house all week! The girls entertained themselves with ping pong, sunning, SUPs The primary bathroom is absolutely splendid! Highly recommend!

Great house on Lake Murray. Very clean and tidy. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing girls trip.

This was the first time staying at an air BNB and thankfully it was the best experience. My fiance was very hesitant and wanted to stay at a hotel but I pushed for this location because it's was so spacious and beautiful. The reviews where all true and it looked just like the pictures. Very clean, very peaceful would stay there every year.

Lauren and Scott were great hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed their home and all of the amenities. The kitchen is well stocked. The living room is spacious and a great gathering area. We loved the ping pong table, fire pit, and playing games. We all felt very comfortable. It wasn’t warm enough to enjoy the lake, but we enjoyed the outdoors on the back porches and long walks.

Lauren’s house is amazing. The pictures do not do it justice. It is most definitely a place you can make yourself at home in. Lauren and Scott fixed any issues we had. They went above and beyond to help us have an amazing weekend celebrating a friend’s wedding. We can’t wait to stay there again!

Great stay! Peaceful and gorgeous setting in the trees on the Lake! We saw deer and had a daily visit on the dock from a heron! Comfy beds & nicer linens! Kitchen was well-equipped and big enough for a couple of cooks! Screened-in back porch is spacious and a wonderful space to relax…bugs are super bad outside! Games were a hit! Master bathroom with air tub 🛁 was beautiful! Lots of updates! No bedrooms on the main level and the stairs down to the bedrooms are kinda steep…but plenty of beds for everyone! Lots of spiderwebs, etc. on the screens, exterior and entry…that could def be better! Overall, a nice place to be with gorgeous sunsets & views for your soul!

Lauren was an amazing host. Her home was exceptionally renovated with character and simplicity perfectly balanced. They thought of every detail when planning to host. From an awesome gift that welcomed us down to make up wash clothes, kitchen well stocked, and fun water toys! We look forward to coming back.

Great place for a long weekend with the family! Lauren has done a fantastic job updating the house. Plenty of space for all. We used the fire pit for s'mores and took the paddle boards out each morning. Lauren also recommended Lake Murray Boat Rentals for a pontoon boat for a couple days, so the dock was used. Great little private cove for floating and easy docking for the boat. The only recommendation would be to replace some of the screens on the porch as it is a great place to sit.

The house was well appointed with everything you would need in the kitchen. The house is about 30 mins from Lexington and more restaurants to choose from so we cooked most nights or went to Buffalo Creek by boat. The house came with kayaks and paddle boards which was a great addition to our pontoon that we brought. Dock was in good shape and real easy to tie-off to. The best part is the marina is less than a mile away so very easy to put your boat in/out. We did have an issue upon checking in but Lauren did take care of it in a timely manner. There were some areas around the exterior of the home we felt could have been better maintained. The interior and the amenities were so great-so the front and side yards were a bit of a disappointment. Lastly-we did book this house based on it being dog-friendly and although Lauren changed her policy before we actually stayed here; she honored our request to allow our dog to come and we were very grateful.

Place was as described. My family enjoyed our stay, I had trouble getting them to leave! Would definitely consider staying there again.

We really enjoyed our stay! The pictures were accurate. The host was nice and accommodating. We loved that they had kayaks and SUP's. We would stay here again for sure! There were minor cleanliness issues. The trash was still there from previous guests. We couldn't use the formal dining area because the chair covers weren't clean. They had pet hair and whatever else on them. But like I said, nothing that was a deal breaker. The neighbors were nice and we loved fishing off the dock. My children enjoyed swimming off the dock. We had a blast. Thank you Lauren for sharing your home with us. We made great memories there for sure!
